Iphone 14 Pro max battery health drops by 4% within weeks.

The battery health of my iPhone 14 pro max had been 99% for the last 8 months. However during this month I noticed 1% drop then another 1% in next week and all of a sudden another 1 followed by the final 1. Now the battery health is 95%. The phone is updated to the latest iOS 18.0.1.

I am concerned, is it a big issue?

Your battery is perfectly fine. Your iPhone battery health is expected to drop about 1% a month or 25 charge cycles, and the decline isn’t linear. Meaning some months you may lose more than expected, or none at all.

After roughly 2 years, you should be at or below 80% battery health. So you are FAR ahead of your battery.

When your battery health reaches 80% or below, have the battery replaced.

Hello, the problem could be some app, very heavy that discharges or takes up a lot of space and weighs heavily on the iPhone.

And in case I didn't activate it go to settings >battery>battery status >and activate optimized charging, this should help your iPhone's battery a lot.

It could also be that the phone doesn't hold much the new update, I advise you to change phone if you make an important use of it

I hope I helped you ☺️

There is no problem. This battery far exceeds its design capacity.
