Touch ID not working

Touch ID on my Magic Keyboard stopped working with the most recent MacOS Sequoia update 15.0.1

MacBook Pro (2021)

A SafeBoot Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support will sort many anomalies


Login and test. Reboot  as normal and test.  Caches get rebuilt automatically.
