Health App Stopped Tracking Sleep Data

Hi everyone,

My iPhone used to track all my sleep data perfectly through the Health app, but suddenly it stopped showing any sleep tracking. I haven’t changed any settings, and everything worked fine before. Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

SOLVED

Same issue with new iPhone 16 with iOS 18. I noticed my iPad has all my health data on it, so After trying everything I found on line to no avail I finally decided to go for it, and IT worked.

On your iPhone:

Go to settings.

Click on your account name at the top.

Click on iCloud.

Click on “see all” under the Saved To Cloud section.

Click on Health.

Turn off the “ Sync this iPhone “ toggle

EXIT out and shut down your iPhone and your Apple Watch.

wait 10 seconds then turn iPhone back on.

go to the same section and toggle the “Sync this iPhone” to On.

it takes about 15 minutes to download your health data from the cloud.

turn on your Apple watch now if you have.

after it’s done downloading, check your data. It should all be there. At least it worked for moi. Aloha🤙🏼

I went through this whole forum and tried Sonar's tips & a few of the others. Still got wrong sleep data until I started "talking" to my watch! I raised my wrist & said "if Apple doesn't fix my sleep tracking, I'm going to purchase the Scan Watch Nova Brilliant watch , ditch my iPhone, iMac Pro & get a Pixel phone & Lenovo laptop." I talked to my iPhone 13 too, didn't use Siri. Low & behold it started correct sleep tracking, but the days it didn't track correctly never got corrected. Strange & weird, but I'm happy with Apple for now.

Not everyone wants to wear a big clunky thing around their wrist, especially since everything should be (& has previously) worked prior to the watch being released.

my i14 isn’t tracking my sleep either - last data I had data was Dec 2, 2024, no idea when I updated to i18, chances are it could be around then.

I just want to know how to get it working again (without something else being deactivated…) so I don’t go too long w/o my data. I do rely on it greatly at times as I have health issues @ during extremely stressful times is when my sleep is most affected 😞

I have a slightly different problem. My watch and phone track my sleep but the time in bed number is way too low

each night ie. last night I went to bed at about 10:15 and got up at 8:05 AM which is 9 hrs50 min. My phone said

I was in bed 6 hr 41 min.

Granted I was up twice during the night for bathroom breaks but no more than 5 minutes total.

Time in bed has consistently been under reported since some time in Nov. I have an apple watch 4 and an

Iphone 13 mini.
