iTunes cutting audio files to 10 seconds

I have been adding music to my iTunes library, and it is mostly working fine. However, a few of the songs are cut to only the first 10 seconds. I have tried deleting and re-adding these songs with no change.

I downloaded them from the internet on one computer as mp3, added them to a USB, then transferred to another computer (they are MPEG-4 files on the second computer, I'm not sure why). The problem is not with the files themselves as when opened in another app they play normally, the issue is only in iTunes.
