Apple TV stopped turning my Sony TV on & off?

My Sony TV used to turn on when my Apple TV turned on, and off when I turned off my Apple TV. Now I have to use my Sony TV remote to turn on & off the TV. I’ve already rebooted the Apple TV remote. What other settings can I try?

Verify that HDMI-CEC is still turned on, on both these devices.

On Apple TV: Settings﹥Remotes and Devices﹥Control TVs and Receivers (or: Turn On Your TV with Your Remote)﹥On
On your TV: See its user manual. Some brands may have their own trade name for CEC (Sony: Bravia Sync).
