Why does the new IPhone Pro not come with a Usbc cable that takes advantage of the 10gb transfer rate

The new IPhone 16 Pro has the capability to to transfer data at 10gb however the the cable shipped with can only transfer at 480mbs.

iPhone has slow USB-C data transfer with Mac I finally took the plunge and upgraded to the iPhone 15 Pro Max from my ancient iPhone 7, and was looking forward to the high-speed data transfer that USB-C promised. How can I ensure all data transfers to my new iPad? This is a user to user only forum, NOT Apple Support. As users, we cannot speak to "why" questions. If I were to guess, I'd imagine, very very very few people actually need a cable capable of transferring data at the maximum rate, and the cable supplied will support what most users may need. If one really has a need for a data transfer cable capable of data rates that high, they can certainly buy one. But again, that's just my guess.
