It’s 2024, more than a decade people complaining about this and still happening, still offloading books and pdfs
in the app without permission, unless you cut off sync for good… apple doesn’t seem to care about reading or users complaints. Of course, also takes forever to redownload it again, but you can stream videos non stop. Great
