If this is what it sounds like, yes I have the issue too. My 16 Pro Max randomly glitches and a bunch of vertical lines flash over the screen, like a broken TV might look like. I just replaced my brand new iPhone 16 Pro Max because of the issue, and my new one is doing the same thing. I've had probably 12 iPhones in my life and I've never had such a blatant issue with a brand new $1400 phone.

Funny you say that. It’s the reason I’m here. I have the exact same issue. I notice it more when I unlock the screen it’s a quick glitch going down the centre of the screen just as you imagine when you think about a broke. Tv screen. But it’s like half a second then gone.

I’ve noticed the same issue on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Rarely, the screen shows vertical flickering lines—almost like the broken LCD lines from older phones. These glitches don’t happen frequently, but they are persistent enough that I believe it might be a hardware issue rather than a software one.
