Deleting Templates

<Go to the Pages app  on your Mac.

Choose File > New (from the File menu at the top of your screen), Control-click the template name, then choose Rename or Delete.

If you’re renaming, type a new name, then press Return.>

I have a ton of excess templates in Pages that I would like to delete.

Above are the instructions from Apple as to how to do this.

Here is a view of my Templates window -

when the above instructions call for <Control-click the template name>, I presume that means control click on the name at the bottom of the template. However, when I do this - nothing happens. Is there another way of deleting unwanted templates?
