How to use equipment with Fitness+

Hello,

I want to use my indoor bike sensors (cadence + speed) inside AF+. I have a subscription, an iPad and iPhone.

I have used the sensors inside Kinomap or with my Garmin watch without any problem.

Currently I start my workouts on AF+, record it with my Garmin watch and transfer it from Garmin Connect to Apple Health.

Is it true, that I need an Apple watch to achieve the use of the sensors inside AF+? Or am I missing something?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 18

I use a Joroto X4S. It works with BLE.

In other apps like Kinomap, Zwift, iConsole or Garmin Tacx it pairs with the name “JOROTO-BK-0839”.

Inside the AF+ app, i didn’t find any possibility to pair a device.

My wife has an Apple Watch, where you can pair the X4S and then you can see the stats after a AF+ workout. Or you can just watch the live cycling metrics on the iPhone, after starting a cycling workout on the watch.

Without an Apple watch, i didn’t find a way, to get this done.
