signia hearings using iOS 18 streaming is constant even when there is no audio from iphone 16. it used to switch off if there wasn

This issue is causing my hearing aids to sound muffled to all audio around me. When I turn off streaming on the hearing aid controls in the phone, then hearing aids work fine but all Audio is going through the phone and not my hearing aids when calls come in or I am watching videos/social media or getting notifications. Prior to iOS 18, my phone and hearing aids only streamed automatically when sound was coming from phone. My microphone light is always on evening when streaming is turned off.

I’m having issues myself with iOS 18.0.1

my signia hearing aids are “connected” via the accessibility settings. It asked me to “pair” them and it did,making sounds in each ear.

but when I try to set up the signia app and use Bluetooth, it just keeps looking. Even though accessibility says “connected” I can’t complete the connect function in the app

I am also having this issue and I use this to hear while in lectures at my podiatry school. Please, Apple, this needs to be fixed!
