Why doesn't Apple create a new MacBook that can open to a flat 180 degrees?

I've been enjoying my MacBook, but there's one thing I've noticed that I can't help but wonder about. I often like to use my laptop while lying down in bed, but the screen doesn't open up to a full flat 180 degrees, which sometimes makes it a bit uncomfortable.

I find myself wishing that I could adjust it to lay completely flat, which would make using it in different positions so much easier and more enjoyable.

I'm reaching out to see if anyone else has felt the same way or found this to be a limitation. Do you know why Apple hasn't designed MacBooks to open completely flat, or if there might be any practical reasons behind this? I'd love to hear if others have experienced this or if you have any tips on how to make it work better in this kind of setup. Also, do you think this could be something Apple might consider in future designs?
