The titles stay linked to your account (e.g. when you switch back countries).
For some countries, some of the same titles might be available as the same Store item. In that case the titles will be available to you there as well. Possibly the embedded audio languages and subtitle languages may be different, depending on country.
In general, there is no guarantee for that, though. Apple offers its services to you only for your Home Country, i.e. where the digital purchase was made.
If you specify the two countries involved, then perhaps some users can share their experiences for that switch.
What you can do, is to make content downloads on your devices. Those should be valid with your account in any country. As described in: Change your Apple Account country or region - Apple Support
