is screen repair covered on iPad Air 4th gen

I want to purchase AppleCare for my iPad Air 4 and I want to know if screen replacement is covered by this plan. My wife also has a iPad 10 that is eligible for AppleCare but we want know about the screen replacement on that as well. I bought my iPad Air 4 last week from the Apple Refurb store, wife’s iPad 10 is new.
