Ever since I updated my Mac to Sequoia, I've had occasional screen flickering and sometimes my screen will go entirely black while I'm actively doing something, and I have to mess with the power button to get it to turn back on. It's just the screen as well, audio still works when the screen gets shut off.

Me too — it's only flickering for me, but it's super annoying. Did you receive any help on this? I've seen countless Reddit threads with users having the exact same issue.
Same issue here. My screen randomly flashes black for only half a second every 5 minutes or so after updating. Super annoying. I am experiencing this issue both on my M1 Macbook Air as well as my Mac mini 2023 with an Apple M2 Pro.
