Notes app did not sync on my new iPad Pro 13

Just got a new iPad Pro 13 and the Notes app is empty.

I had done a full backup of my old iPad Air 5 to my Mac Mini using iTunes and restored that backup to the new Pro. So far, Notes seems to be the only app missing its data.

What am I missing?

Thank you

Ensure that you have enabled iCloud for Apps that you wish to synchronise between devices. For the the Notes App:

iPadOS 18

Settings > [Your Name / Apple Account] > iCloud > [Saved to iCloud] See All > Notes > Sync this iPad - set to ON

iPadOS 17 and earlier

Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > iCloud > [Apps Using iCloud] Show All > Notes > Sync this iPad - set to ON
