Hi, why my Apple Pay keeps popping up randomly? How to stop this from happening?
Are you accidentally double pressing the side button? Is your iPhone in a case? Does the case rub or touch the side button?
Try switching Transit Card on momentarily and then switching it off again. Turn your iPhone off and on and see if it randomly pops up.
I found out the reason. I was placing my iPhone 16 pro max on the mouse pad of my laptop. Once the phone slide down from the mouse pad, Apple Pay is triggered! Why is this happening? I test out on my other phone, a iPhone 14. It is not triggering the Apple Pay…. Something is wrong with 16 pro max.

No, case shouldn’t be an issue if it’s an Apple case. Have you updated the iOS to 18.01 yet? If not, that’s recommended.
Do you have the transit card enabled on the iPhone?
Didn’t touch the side button. The phone is in a case from Apple. Shouldn’t misalign right?
Yes. My phone is on iOS 18.01 already. No transit card enabled on my phone.
