How can I check if my Apple Gift Card is valid or not?
I am enquiring about the Apple Gift Card. I sent one to a friend and she said it was not good. How can I check this please

- Was this an electronic Gift Card purchased at apple.com where it was emailed to your friend by Apple?
- Was this a physical Gift Card purchased at a third party retailer and you still have the card, but sent the code to your friend?
Depending on how you acquired the Gift Card the process may be a little different and also the exact message that was given when attempting to redeem. A message that says it is not valid is due to the letters being incorrectly entered. A card that says it is not activated is a failure at the retailer where they took the money, but did not activate the card at the check stand.
