iPhone 16 Pro crashing when taking photos- ongoing issue.

This has been an ongoing issue since I got the phone on September 20. The order in which it happens varies... but as for today, it happened every time I attempted to take a regular photo, not a portrait or a video. Happens with the camera button or through using the touchscreen to open the camera app.

I have an appt at apple tonight but after reading some other peoples comments it seems like it will be a waste of time getting a replacement. I am just sick of this....

So many moments have been missed because the camera crashes and I have to completely restart the phone. My husband also got the iPhone 16 pro and he hasnt had this issue at all... ever.
