USB-C ports no longer supports USB-C dongles on Sequoia

None of my USB keys are recognized on my Macbook pro since installing Sequoia. I can only read them on a Windows PC. (It's a desaster)

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.0

Check with the manufacturer, some manufacturers had to provided a firmware update to be compatible with macOS Sequoia. Others found powering off their docking station / KVM and powering it back on resolved the issues.

I have this problem on ALL my USB, USB-C drives (oldest and newest). Docking station off/on does not work. Sorry but it is not up to manufacturers to provide firmware, some of my USB keys are too old but perfectly functional on Windows PC. These USB keys have been working for years under different OSX versions except... Sequoia. Is the FAT 32 format no longer readable? I'm waiting for an update for this USB port problem or reading USB / USB-C keys.

I'm having a similar issue as well:

I have two monitors connect to my Macbook Air (Apple M1 Chip) via HyperDrive Dual 4K 10-in-1 USB hub. Everything was working flawlessly moment ago, until I update my MacOS.

Now, the only display that works is whichever one is plugged into the first HDMI slot on the hub. Additionally when I click on the MacOS Instant View icon, I receive the following pop-up message 'USB Display is not connected. Please connect it and try again'

I've attempted everything from unplugging the monitors both from the hub itself as well as the power chord. I've also made sure my drivers were up to date with the latest version of the software.

So far nothing has worked.

Please be mindful of updating your software....

I just don’t understand why it would be working flawlessly with macOS Sequoia 15.0 and then have issues immediately after updating to 15.0.1

It’s just a headache because it has rendered my $200 hub useless. I’ve reached out to the manufacturer though to see if there is anything they can do on their end.

I’ll continue to troubleshoot, but so far nothing has worked.
