cell service goes to SOS after updatng to ios 1

After updating to iOS 18 on iPhone 15 cellular service goes out in good coverage area once a week and shows SOS. Have to restart my iPhone once a week to get cell service back. Please help

SOS means that your phone is working, but is not connected to your carrier’s network. It can only make emergency calls on other networks. You need to contact your carrier to resolve this. Here is guidance from Apple→If you see No Service, Searching, or SOS on your iPhone or iPad


Note that if you are out of coverage for more than 5 minutes the phone will go into a cellular standby mode, and will only check to see if service has been restored periodically. If this happens turn on Airplane Mode for 15-30 seconds, then turn Airplane Mode off. This will force the iPhone to do another network scan.
