My new Canon Color ImageClass MF753Cdw prints fine wirelessly and it used to be fine with wireless scanning. Suddenly, my iMac 20,2 using macOS 15.0.1 does not detect my scanner. Any advice? I've tried all the usual.

iMac 27″, macOS 15.0

After having installed the software again I just thought about your first hint to look for Settings>Privacy & Security>Local Network. In fact the scanner was not enabled there. While it was not listed there before now it was. After enabling everything is fine. Thanks a lot!

hello,

I have the same issue with an MF633/635 but I recently did not allow the search for any devices by the scanner utility when I was asked for.Assuming that my current device would still be known I did not expect any need to search for (more). Looking into the Local Network settings as described in this thread does not show any scanner at all. Printing still works fine. What can I do?

thanks upfront!
