Open Finder, go to the Applications folder, delete the installer ("Installer macOS Ventura"), empty the Trash and download a fresh copy of the update.

If you can't find the installer, download the update directly from the Ap Store : App Store - macOS Sonoma.

Start your Mac in safe mode and try to update macOS.

After a while it shows “Failed to prepare the software update. An error occurred while downloading the selected update. Please check your internet connection and try again.” The internet is very strong and I’ve tried the update numerous times.
