iPad Air M2 2024 getting too hot to hold while using.

I have purchased this new iPad Air M2 2024 recently. From last 3 days l’m using this with Apple Pencil pro for making notes on apple notes app. My device doesn't have any tempered glass or protective cover over it. During making notes of my Classes Lower right part ( below the camera and its nearby regions)of this device gets too much warm , it becomes very uncomfortable to handel ,even palm feels like burning.

I’m first time using iPad and this warming problem of iPad is literally annoying , this problem starts Immediately after I start using Apple Pencil pro to write on the notes app , with severe heating issues the battery also gets discharge too quickly (from 80 to 30% in an hour ) , after this the pencil pro also feels laggy ; while writing a word some letters gets missing and needs to be written twice .When I didn’t use pencil pro , then temperature remains normal to bit warm .I am facing this problem with apple notes app some other users are facing the same problem while working on Freeform app (as visible from community tab)

After purchasing this iPad I just updated this to latest software update iPadOS version 18.0.1

It’s mine sincere request to Apple R&D/product/os team to look in this matter.

Please guide me how to overcome this problem. And share your experience, Thankyou.

First, perhaps understand the Apple Support Community is a user-to-user technical forum. Contributors here are all end-users, just like you. Other than the site Moderators, Apple neither monitor nor participate here.

As such, if you hope to reach Apple through these forums, you will be disappointed.

It is not unusual for an iPad to become warm when being used - more so when using some types of iPad case. High screen brightness and/or CPU intensive Apps will also create more heat.

The key point is that whilst your iPad may become very warm in normal use, the iPad should not become uncomfortably hot to handle. If your iPad is becoming too hot to hold, you should take your iPad along to the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store - where the technicians can examine and test your iPad for faults.

The apple notes app has issues with pencil pro, probably related to new added features like barrel roll etc. Try switching to some other note taking app like Goodnotes, Notability or Collanotes.
