Why my Screen Time go up when I turn my iPhone off?

Whenever I turn my phone off, the screen time on my phone goes up. It appears as a grey bar but doesn't specify what it is. I have the background app refresh turned off. I've tried restarting the phone but the issue won't go away.

I've just turned my phone on in the morning and already have 7 hours+?

Screen Time keeps turning itself off I have Screen Time set up on my phone and something happens that causes it to reset and turn itself off EVERY DAY! 1) my settings are NOT shared across devices 2) my phone is updated (and as a matter of fact, it sometimes it occurs AFTER an update and other times before) 3) when it happens it COMPLETELY resets…ie Allowed apps reset to default, content and web restrictions are turned off and all allowed or not allowed websites are deleted, downtimes are turned off. It is very frustrating because if it is doing it on my iPhone 12 Pro, is it also doing it on my kids?

How can I prevent Screen Time glitches on my iPhone? I turn my phone off every night around 10pm and turn it back on around 6:30am. Today I turned my phone on to the screen time on all night while my phone was off and me message app at 7hrs. What’s the cause for the glitch? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

I have the same thing happening. I turn off my plane on air flights and when I turn it back on, my screen time has gone up by the same amount of time of the flight.
