Touch screen issue on my iPhone 16 Pro Max

Who has a problem with the touch screen on the 16 pro max? The sensor near the frames doesn't work well for me. The 18.0.1 update didn't solve the problem, although it got better. The phone was bought on October 4, what should I do? Should I take it back?

Hi,

me too! It’s better, but I have the problem also after the update to 18.0.1; I called apple assistance today and they opened a ticket, they said that probably it’s a bug, however I sent the feedback also through the site portal, if more people use the feedback portal and maybe also if they call the assistance, Apple notice soon the software bug for a fix.

anyways, you are not alone in this trouble mate!

I’ve bought two iPhone 16 Pro Max, one for my partner and one for Myself and we both noticed this lack of responsiveness and sensitivity on the screen despite the fact that we change screen protectors and got the best ones on the market thinking these would solve the problem. That’s how I got here. I’ve written a feedback about the iPhone 16 Pro Max to Apple, addressing the issue and hoping that the upcoming updates will fix the problem. This is extremely annoying as this phone supposed to be the fastest and more responsive in the market.

Its strange for this to be hardware issue , since all phones are doing exactly the same.

people on web are generaly eviil , I dont understand why.

some claim that thay have resolved this issue by reinstalling ios , and then restoring all data manualy , not form i cluod.

also , some say to wait for new update , some say that is harware issue.....

dont know what to think?

Nobody knows for sure is this software or harware issue.

So the main problem is this , nobody have a proper solution.

I woud like to belive that this is a software issue , and that things will be corected via update , but they have already pushed the update and it made things a bit better but far from good.

Now , if its a software issue , they would work on update , they would make some public notice.

Last thing that they would do is giving new phones to people.

They are working on updates , yes , but what updates , inteligence updates.

So ....

I think that soultion i somwhere in those jey repet setting , slow keys , how fast the taptic is....

Or in a worse case scenario , in taking of screen protector....

What do other think?
