Shortcuts app - "Find Notes" random sorting not working

The random sorting in the "Find Notes" seems to not work properly.

I want to create a shortcut that shows a random note out of a folder 'abc' that contains various notes. So I setup these actions:

1. Find 'all notes'

    • filter: if folder is 'abc'
    • sort by 'random'
    • limit: on
    • retrieve: 1

2. Show Notes

display the note that has been found

Result: It shows always the same note, not a random note as expected.

If I setup the same shortcut with "Find photos" it works and shows a random photo.

Can anyone help? Is this a bug?

Thank you Alancito,

I´ve already testet this. Setting no limit works for folders that contain just a few notes. But if there are more notes inside, the "Find" action needs a lot of time and then freezes and shows an error. In my testfolder there are 100 notes (all of them contain a video, don´t know if this matters). The "Find" action also works fine with random ordering and limit to 1, if you configure it to find photos or videos instead of notes. The second step (get the first item) is then not needed.
