Private relay not forwarding

I signed up on an app and I forgot my password and it said that it sent a code to my email address which was used and I use the Apple ID so it’s the private relay and it is not forwarding to my email address. My regular email address I have an iCloud. I tried that and I have a yahoo account. Nothing is being forwarded

Apple ID private relay not forwarding to your email? If you happen to be using apps that you used your Apple ID private relay to sign up for only the email addresses with which that app has registered to Apple ID can send you emails through the private relay system. so if you have your private relay email and you are expecting a password reset email from another app that uses your private relay email through Apple ID you may not receive the reset emails forwarded to you because that third-party app or developer may have not registered the email that they send those reset notifications through to Apple ID. The example I was given is if @noreply.coinbase.com was the email that you received your confirmation emails from during set up then that is the only email that will reliably forward through your private relay Apple ID. If you as a customer then need a password reset from the app and that app sends the reset notification to your email through the private relay Apple ID, but sends the notification through @noreplypasswordreset.coinbase.com you will not receive the password reset instructions because the secondary email address of @noreplypasswordreset was not originally linked to the individual temporary email that was set up with your private relayApple ID email address the Apple system will not forward the password reset instructions or confirmations to your email.

Private relay emails not forwarding my emails my daughter recently gained first employment, she signed in to the workplace app used with a private relay Apple ID and now important email correspondence and access codes are not being forwarded to her. it appears to be an Apple problem any one know a way around this?
