Is there a way to stop outgoing swoosh sound on iphone 16 messenger?

So I just switched from android to the new iphone 16 and I can't seem to get rid of this annoying swooshing sound whenever I send a message. Looking at old forums they say there is an option under sounds&haptics for the sent message tone, but I don't see it on my phone. The only option is to shut off the text tone but that also removes inbound message sounds. Is there a workaround? Ngl having buyers remorse right now.
