Two symbols appeared on my calendar. One is a pair of arrows that signifies a repeating event. The other is a circle with some kind of mark in it. I don't want either of these to appear on my calendar. How do I get rid of them?

Sequoia, iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 have added icons next to events in Calendar. This coincides with the ability to add reminders to the calendar. There is no way to disable them.

Can you provide a screenshot of the symbols?
Could you do another screenshot but this time show a day appointment with those icons showing. I am wondering if it is a different Calendar that the one supplied by Apple

Are you paying attention to who you're responding to? I'm not the OP. And I already suggested the OP submit feedback.
I'm perfectly happy with the new icons and feel no need to submit feedback.
Looks like a Clock and the other one look like a Repeat symbol
I can't replica them on my Calendar.
That's terrible news. They are so ugly and really clutter up the calendar with useless information.
