I would like to use iPhone SE 1st generation in 2024. How?

I have a iPhone SE 1st generation and I am aware that is not more support for it nowadays, but still I would like to find a way to use it as an spare phone, but for some reason I couldn't sign in my Apple account from this phone, my credentials are right, by the way, I even try to create another apple account for this phone and not luck. Any advise or help please

Is this iPhone SE 1st gen one you have had for a while, or is this iPhone new to you?

If this iPhone is new to you, the seller will need to follow steps to relinquish ownership to you:

The steps can be performed remotely.

If the iPhone is tied to a different Apple Account and if the seller is no longer available, then you have acquired yourself what amounts to a brick. If so, you will not be able to use this iPhone. Recycle it. Yes. Recycle.

If this iPhone is Activation Locked ("Locked to Owner"), you must provide the Apple ID and password which it is requesting.

If you are the original owner, and you have proof of purchase documentation from Apple, or an Apple Authorized Reseller, showing your name and the phone's serial number, you can submit an Activation Lock support request.

Yes, i am the original owner, i just havent used it for years, and is the latest software update on it for this model iOS 15.8.3

Have you been changing Apple Accounts, as some folks do when they get a new iPhone?

If so, you’ll need to recover access to the Apple Account, or recover access to the purchase receipt and discuss this with Apple.

As of today, yes.

If Apple ever did release an iOS 15.8.4 (to push out important bug or security fixes), the iPhone SE (1st generation) would be able to get it. But iOS 15 is the end of the line – that phone cannot update to iOS 16 or higher.
