Apple sending alert emails to old address

Apple sending alert emails to old address- I deleted an email address completely from my Apple ID and Apple Account, it is not listed anywhere and is not listed to receive notifications from my Apple account.

does not work. I was not able to respond to the old question so I am asking it again.

I consider this a huge security risk that alerts from my Apple account containing sensitive device information are being sent to an email address that I have completely deleted from my Apple ID and profile.

I have deleted it everywhere possible many months ago.

This is not related to any particular device, but rather to my Apple account.

How can an email address that has been removed from my account still be receiving emails from Apple?

And what if I no longer had access to or control over that email address? What is the point of deleting an email address from one's Apple account if Apple will send emails to the deleted address anyways?
