Hello everyone,
I just bought a used iPhone 15 and noticed something unusual. In the settings, I see two IMEI numbers one under the esim section (IMEI) and another listed as IMEI 2 for a physical SIM card. However, my phone doesn't seem to have a physical SIM card slot anywhere.
Has anyone else encountered this? Could it be that my model is fully eSIM-only?

An iPhone 15 has the capacity to have two eSIMs active at once. Because of that there are two IMEI's listed (IMEI and IMEI 2). That however doesn't mean you have them both active. It just means it's available to be activated should you decide to do so.
So there is indeed not a physical SIM card slot in the iPhone 15 because this model only uses the eSIM technology.

iPhone's since the iPhone XS and XR have had support for 2 SIM cards whether physical or esim.
The iPhone 15 can support 2 sims only or 1 esim and 1 physical sim or even 2 physical sims and no esims depending on the country it is meant for sale in.
Just because there is a secondary esim, does not mean its for physical SIM card at all. It can be used with a secondary esim as well.

Note: All iPhone 15s will have 2 IMEI numbers.
