Hi Gomezyani,

The issue you have with your iPhone X can have multiple solutions, I'll place the most convenient below:

1. Check SIM Card

The problem could be related to your SIM card not being detected or working properly. Here's what you can do:

  • Remove and Reinsert the SIM Card: Use a SIM ejector tool or a small paperclip to remove the SIM card tray, check for any dust or damage, and reinsert the SIM card properly.
  • Try a Different SIM Card: If possible, test your iPhone with a different SIM card (from another device or provider) to see if the issue persists. If the new SIM card works, the problem may lie with your old SIM card.

2. Reset Network Settings

This step can help clear out any corrupt or misconfigured network settings that might be causing the issue.

  • Go to: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
  • This will reset Wi-Fi networks, cellular settings, and VPN configurations (you will need to reconnect to Wi-Fi networks afterward).

3. Check for Carrier Settings Update

Carrier settings updates are released by your network provider to enhance network performance and connectivity. If there's an update available, it may resolve your issue.

  • Go to: Settings > General > About.
  • If there’s a carrier settings update available, you'll see a prompt to update. Tap Update.

Feel free to reach out again if this doesn't help you any further.

Take care!

Thanks for your help, though didn't work. The issue is that I restored the iPhone X in reset factor, so it restarted as new requested me to choose the language and then requested for a WiFi connection before proceeding.

So that's where the problem comes in for failing to connect to wifi just bringing"failed to activate the network choose another network". What could be the problem.
