I have never seen the back of the device that is pictured:

  • Saying iP16
  • No Apple Logo
  • No 2 tone camera cutout
  • The box packaging indicated it was Ultramarine, and that is not Ultramarine.
  • No appearance of side buttons that you can normally see when looking at the back of the phone

Anyway, if you like the device, nothing else matters. You just may not be able to get it serviced and it would have no trade-in value. While you may not have an Apple Store in your region, there may be a contact number that you can still call. There is no email support.

box is obviously fake but i checked phone on apple site and also by IMEI check and it showed up normal..

Serial numbers are always copied from legitimate numbers, just try getting service on the device. Checking on the Apple site in no way proves authenticity. IMEI checks are ineffective and also spoofed as well.

Have you tried Activating the phone?

If you were able to activate it with your carrier without issue I would imagine it is more than likely legit. Not sure how the boxes usually look for other countries so I can’t definitively say it looks fake to me….only that it looks fake compared to the box in the US. Where did you purchase the phone from? Was it an authorized Apple retailer? Or did you purchase it used from a private seller? Have you contacted Apple directly to confirm it is a legit iPhone?
