I have 70 directories with 26000 photos that I want to sync to my iPad in the same order on pc.
They sync and transfer ok but the order is all over the place, all files are in filename order.
why can I not get the same order on my iPad, file name is the only order for most applications.
Itunes needs to sort this out, most apps use file name convention.

As I said, the Files app on the iPad is a file browser that would be quite happy showing file by filename. There is no comparison to iTunes, which runs on Windows (and older Macs).
The Photos app on the iPad is a photo/video manager that organizes by capture or addition date, by folder/album structure, and by certain specific other attributes. It does not sort by filename.
Are you pushing them into the Files app or the Photos app? The Files app is a file manager that mostly works by filename. The Photos app is a photo database that indexes in a number of ways, mostly by date of capture and date of addition.

I do not know, they go to wherever ITunes puts them, maybe Photo. What is iPad files app is it better than ITunes?
