I conneted to the macbook with a windows keyboard and I can't find on the settings a way to switch between languages except for the option of using capslock.
The other keys don't work.

What languages are you switching?
Are you able to switch via the Input Menu in the right corner of the Menu Bar?
Does Control Space not work? Have you set that up in
Set a keyboard shortcut to switch input sources on Mac - Apple Support
Does the keyboard have an Fn key? Have you set that to change keyboards in your keyboard settings?
