Iphone 15 Pro Max recognized by Windows 11 but not in iTunes

I wanted to backup up my My iPhone 15 Pro Max for the first time in iTunes. To my surprise, iTunes does not recognize it. I have tried multiple USB cords/ports (A and C), reinstalled iTunes, installed the iTunes non-MS Store version, restarted the phone, hard reset the phone, Reset All Setting (really annoying) and nothing seems to work. Windows recognizes the phone. I can see it in Windows explorer and all cables work. The phone charges when connected.


This is a basic function for iTunes so I cannot imagine it's a widespread spread problem. Has anyone run into this?

Did you install the more recent three apps - Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Devices? If so, syncing and backup is in Apple Devices now.
