Why use a 3rd party to create a multi-boot macOS? You can simply open Disk Utility and create a new APFS volume inside the APFS Container and both volumes will share the free space. It is non-destructive, requires no volume resizing and can be safely deleted as needed. You merely need enough free storage space. It enables one to multi-boot different installations of macOS. Holding power during startup on Apple Silicon to toggle between boot volumes.
This is how I test new macOS versions, I install using an APFS volume so it doesn't replace my working system. Once I am confident an upgrade will work properly. I decide to either upgrade in-place the existing macOS or I migrate my data from the original volume and then erase the original volume.
You just need to name the volumes so you can tell them apart. i.e. Sequoia or macOS15 instead of 'Maciintosh HD'.
