the AppleCare+ gets associated to the correct IPad? In my Amazon account it says I can download each one of the software. However, one IPad will be mine, one will be Husband’s. How does he get his Apple Care+ software on his IPad, once they arrive? Thank you.

There is no "AppleCare+ software". AppleCare+ is a service so there's nothing to download. When you purchase AppleCare+ through any authorized Apple reseller, that reseller will file the sale of the device with the plan with Apple including the relevant serial numbers, so there's normally nothing you should have to do. Once you have the iPads, you can confirm the coverage via this Apple website:

If it only shows the standard one-year warranty, you will need to go back to Amazon for assistance.
