Is this normal for the iPhone 16 pro max???

first, when I first open my gallery my photos always appear blurry and takes a couple of seconds to focus. Or if I select a photo to view and exit out, it will do the same. Second, sometimes when I’m deleting photos it will oddly merge my photo with another photo. Attaching images for you to see of the first issue as it’s saying not enough space to add both I have asked the apple store for support but they have not been reassuring and have been quick to brush it off
