Voicemails depositing into text message after switching to T-Mobile

Called Apple Support, expertly checked phone settings and suggested reaching out to carrier as this is their setting for voicemail to text (or visual voicemail for Android)

The voicemails weren’t loaded under the phone app, only had a strange message that a business had “deposited a message” and to call phone (469) 982-5001 etc to retrieve said messages, after this, your actual voicemail is finally deposited where it belongs.

T-Mobile Support had me calling voicemail on merged call and speaker, thankfully I was disconnected and researched it myself. In their forums, an answer was posted to go on the T-Moble app or website. I found it on the website:

Explained and answered:

Click Account then find Profile Settings for phone line, follow below:

Profile > Block calls and messages > Selected line > “Block Other”

Switch on the pink radio button to “block this feature”

Done!!
