Problems with Messages after Sequoia OS 15.0.1 update

I had the same issue. I went into my phone and Mac Book Air and selected Icloud/ messages/ and selected sync now my messages now are working.

Another problem I had forever and did not even know it was problem was I had to clean up messages I want to delete separately. I have been doing that since I bought my Mac Book Air a year ago. Now if I delete a message on either my iPhone or my Laptop it removes the messages on both

Not running VPN. Right click on a message to delete and Messages quits unexpectedly. Also, I go to Settings/iCloud+ (my name)/Internet Accounts/Messages/Messages in iCloud/Status and Sync Now does not work.

Why is Messages version 14.0 when I just updated to Sequoia 15.1?

Well actually it worked for about 2 days and still having the problem. Some texts don't show up at all, or they show up 2-3 days later........so no Apple didn't fix it. and I've done the additional patches..........15" with El Cap still working perfect!

Me too; looking for solutions... haven't talked to Apple yet, but it's definitely not working/syncing.

Thanks for your question and comment. I use Express VPN, too. Do you need to shut it off on your phone and your Mac? I agree with you 100%, apple needs to fix this.

Same problem but I am not running any sort of VPN that I can tell.

Fix Sequoia, My texts are not updating on my macbook pro via my iphone 12. If I restart my macbook it updates my texts. Shouldn't have to do that. thanks
