DCP PANIC out of the blue!

All of a sudden my screen went black and after a few seconds the MB PRO restarted (without me touching anything) and I got this error that I reported to Apple:

panic(cpu 0 caller 0xfffffe002736ede8): DCP PANIC - IOMFB int_handler_gated: failure: axi_rd_err [0x40300034]

- iomfb_driver(11)

It is a display related issue, but I don't know it is is due to hardware or software. Most of the information I find online seems related to a software issue back in 2021 with macOS Monterey. Some people seemed to have this particular Kernel Panic after watching HDR videos. I only performed a quick online search and skimmed some of the forum posts, but never saw any posts where the issue was claimed to have been resolved.

You neglected to post the exact model of your Mac and version of macOS being used. You can get this information by clicking the Apple menu and selecting "About This Mac".

Run the third party app EtreCheck and post the complete report here so we can examine it for possible clues.

Here are some of the threads I found....the first post I'm linking directly explains parts of the Kernel Panic error message for anyone who is interested:
