Troubleshooting Compromised iPhone and Apple Account:

A. Determining a Compromised iPhone:

• Who sold it to you?

If Apple, no worries. If a third-party, then consider it of concern (which is what resetting it, as if you were to sell it, is all about). And don't jailbreak it, as that's the only way it can be compromised.

• Restore to Factory Settings:

Set this Up Anew. If you are so concerned, then reset your iPhone, as if you were to sell it. Perform as instructed here, including the backup: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

B. Secure your Apple Account:

A. Verify your Devices:

Verify that all devices are logged in to your account, by using this link: Check your Apple ID Device List to See where you're Signed in - Apple Support

B. Modify your Credentials:

Having reviewed this, someone may have your credentials. So, by all means, consider modifying them...

• Modify: your login credentials (Using Both a New eMail and a New Password for each and all sites)
• Associate: a different method of payment to your account
• Enable: Two-Factor Authentication for Apple ID and for all other accounts that have such an applicable option
