Apple Watch stuck on Chinese with blank screen. Will not pair.

Fully charged Apple Watch Series 6, displays only blank screen. Only speaking Chinese on triple click of crown and unable to pair (partly because I cannot see the watch pairing code). Hard reset does nothing at all. No apple symbol after over a minute!!!

Did you try to erase the watch while connected to the charger?

Put your Apple Watch on its charger, then press and hold the side button until the sliders appear.
Press and hold the Digital Crown to show the Erase all content and settings screen.
Tap Reset, then tap Reset again to confirm.
When the process finishes, set up your watch again. When asked, restore from a backup.

If your display does not show any icons at all, this looks like a hardware issue and you will have to get the watch serviced:
