Enable AirPods Bluetooth gaming mode in Final Cut Pro

 has the "gaming mode" feature on macOS, which claims that kicks in automatically and one of the things it does is that doubles the bluetooth sampling rate to reduce input lag and audio latency for AirPods.

I wonder if it is possible to force this particular feature with the bluetooth to be enabled when using final cut pro, because as much as I love to edit my videos using my AirPods Pro, the audio latency makes it impossible to make cuts based on music.

Is there a way to do it?

Not in FCP, no. Apple controls that automatically, and there are no AirPod controls for FCP. That said, on the rare occasion I do use my AirPods with FCP, I don't experience any latency. Do you have any latency when using your MBP's built-in speakers?
