Cannot print from iPhone xr

yesterday I tried to print from my iPhone XR and it does not show a printer BUT if I tap to select a printer it shows the canon printer available so I tap on it and it seems to look for a printer but goes blank.

I have rebooted my wifi but still the iPhone will not print from my iPhone .

I have never had this problem before. I checked and everything is on the same wifi, ALSO I can print from my iPad without a problem…

What does "goes blank" mean exactly? Apart from not finding a printer and not printing, is the iPhone working normally? Is the screen OK, do apps work as they should, and is it possible to access the Internet via the Wi-Fi router?

Any information about the Canon printer model?

Are you using a VPN app on the iPhone?

A full power-cycle sequence may be worth testing:

  • Power off the Wi-Fi router, the Canon printer, the iPhone, the iPad, and all other devices/computers.
  • Wait two to three minutes.
  • Power on the router.

I tried yesterday when there was a lot of battery life too and no go. it does show the printer when I choose a printer but it won’t connect to the printer."

No Maximum Capacity %?! ...To be clearer, this icon is the Settings app:

...Tap it to open Settings app. Then scroll down to Battery and tap it. Then tap Battery Health & Charging and tell us what the Maximum Capacity % is. If its value is only "––", let us know that.
