Apple Watch showing HR when I'm not even wearing it!
I'm about to ditch this watch. I checked my HR yesterday and it said my resting HR was 156! When I went back and looked at the daily data, it showed the watch measuring my HR at 160-168 at 4:00 am! First of all, I didn't even put the watch on until shortly before I did my workout at 11:00 am. Second, even in full workout mode my HR doesn't go above the 140s (I'm in my 60s, so that is right for me.). If my HR was EVER in the 160s, believe me, I'd know it! Also, occasionally I will get very low reading in the 40s which shows up as just a dot well below the rest of my readings. Again, if my HR suddenly dropped from 95 to 43 as it shows here, I'd KNOW it - that just isn't accurate, but it stresses me out to see that anyway. And I know everyone is going to say, "check with your doctor," but I'm not going to run to the doctor every time a Apple Watch gets it wrong (and they've never detected any irregular heartbeats in the past.). I am about over this watch, I don't need the extra stress of these wild, random readings.
