I’ve used Notes to scan documents many times, and just today I notice the camera icon has disappeared. I’m trying scan into a new note in my iCloud account and I do have good internet access.
Is it possible a recent iOS update has triggered a change in preferences or something maybe?

any chance you could share a screen shot of notes with the paperclip icon. neither my iphone 12 or ipad 2nd gen both with ios 18 seem to have it - i wonder what i am doing wrong
Thanks that helped me. All of my three Apple devices (two iPhones and an iPad) had limited functionality until I created a new folder on my iPad and all the icons you showed in the image appeared.
